ShipGenius Copyright & Trademark Notice

This notice explains who owns the ShipGenius software, content, and brand, what you may do with them, and how to reach us about a copyright concern. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The ShipGenius web application at lite.shipgeni.us, the ShipGenius mobile and desktop applications, the marketing site at shipgeni.us, and the documentation, knowledge base, designs, user interface, graphics, and text within them are the copyrighted work of ShipGenius LLC, except where a third party is credited.

Shipping labels, customs forms, and other carrier documents generated through ShipGenius follow the formats of the carriers that issue them. Carrier names, logos, and label formats remain the property of their respective carriers. Software components licensed from others are listed under Third-Party Attributions.

The ShipGenius name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without our written permission, and may not be used as part of another product, service, company, or domain name.

USPS®, UPS®, FedEx®, DHL, Shopify, Stripe, Apple, and other marks that appear in ShipGenius belong to their respective owners. Their appearance describes the services ShipGenius connects to and does not imply endorsement.

Permitted Use

You may use ShipGenius for your own personal or internal business shipping in accordance with the Terms of Service, and you may take screenshots of your own account for support and record keeping. Use of the API is governed by the Terms of Service and the API documentation.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, frame, or redistribute any part of the ShipGenius applications, documentation, or content, or use automated means to extract them, except as the Terms of Service or written permission from ShipGenius LLC allows.

If you believe content available through ShipGenius infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice to info@shipgeni.us with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

  • the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  • where the material appears in ShipGenius, with enough detail for us to locate it;
  • your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and
  • your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove or disable access to material identified in a complete notice and inform the account that posted it. That account may send a counter-notice to the same address containing the same identifying information, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for its address. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will be closed.
